Blue Ocean Traders is a wholesale supplier that is open to trade only.
If you have not registered a trade account with us, sign up for a new account.
Approval usually takes 1-2 business days.
All Blue Ocean Traders orders are to be shipped by freight from Louisville, KY. However, when it is more economical, we may ship via FedEx/UPS {small package}.
We do not offer drop-ship.
Freight Costs
We select the best bid from shipping companies and independent truckers for each order to ensure you receive the most competitive rate. In addition, we will include freight costs in your invoice and charge them to your credit card before shipping.
We do not offer any freight cap.
Minimum opening orders and re-orders are a $750 minimum, average freight costs are about 18% of the order amount. This rate will vary as gas/fuel surcharges fluctuate and by the weight, density, and distance the pallet will travel. If freight quotes are 25% or more, We will contact you for approval.
Special Shipping Request During Delivery
If your receiving facility doesn't have a loading dock, let your account manager know so that we can arrange special shipping requests. Carrier drivers will not take the pallet off the truck, unwrap it, or bring it into a store/business.
Special Shipping Requests & Fees
Special shipping requests must be made when you place an order. There will be additional charges for these requests.
- Lift Gate $50
- Appointment Delivery $115
- Limited Access {narrow street or alley}$100
- Residential Address $101.50
- Re-delivery {if no one is present to receive the delivery} $117+ {rates vary}
- Storage fees $25 {per day}
- Unauthorized returns and refused shipments will incur a 20% restocking fee based on the invoice's total, plus the return freight charges.
Pick-Up
An appointment is required for pick-up from our warehouse in Louisville. Don't hesitate to contact your account manager to arrange an appointment. When you are in our facility, labor assistance is available to help you with the loading.
